I went to a few races at Rabbit Hill as a kid. Thinking that since I trained at Panorama I would so kick it on this little hill course…I was wrong. They pumped out some really good racers and true to form, they still do.
Though Rabbit Hill is just, well, a hill, it is also a very devoted to getting kids into ski racing, and now, more and more, into snowboarding events. They have teams for skiing and snowboarding and kids who just recently developed enough neck strength to hold up their own heads, are hitting the funboxes and rails in the terrain park.
This is a very family oriented place for the Edmonton local or visitor. There are enough runs to keep you busy all day and the terrain for snowborders is apparently pretty darn good. I can’t attest to that since those crazy flat skate-board things that punk rockers ride were not around when I was here last.
